TAVI treatment for aortic stenosis – world leading results

In an elderly high-risk population with aortic stenosis, our TAVI program reports a 30-day and 17-month mortality of 3% and 8%, respectively. These clinical outcomes are remarkable when compared with international benchmarks.

For example, in contrast to our results, the French National registry of over 3000 patients (FRANCE 2 Registry) reported 30-day and 12-month mortality of 9.7% and 24.0%. Our outcomes are amongst the best reported worldwide in this challenging population.

This attached scientific paper Introduction of a Heart Team-based Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation Program: Short and Medium Term Outcomes (published in the Internal Medicine Journal) highlights the outcomes of our first 100 patients.
